DocuEase is designed so your document processing happens on your device. The app does not upload your files to our servers for routine conversions, OCR, image enhancement, PDF editing, or document generation.

• Your selected files are processed locally on your Android device.
• Generated files are saved to your device storage.
• Recent files and activity history are stored locally on your device.
• The app may show ads through Google AdMob.

2. Information We Handle

DocuEase may handle the following categories of information:

• Files you choose to open in the app, such as PDFs, images, DOCX, CSV, XLSX and similar formats.
• App-generated outputs such as converted files, OCR results, compressed files, cropped pages and edited documents.
• Local task history, recent files and processing status data used to show Activity Center and Recent Files.

This information is handled on-device so the app can perform the features you request.

3. What We Do Not Do

• We do not require you to create an account to use the app.
• We do not store your files on our own servers for standard app processing.
• We do not sell your personal files or document contents.
• We do not use your files to train public AI models.

4. On-Device Processing

Core DocuEase features such as PDF conversion, PDF merging, cropping, OCR workflows, image enhancement, Word conversion and recent task management are designed to run locally on the device.

When you save output files, they are written to storage on your device, including folders such as Downloads/DocuEase.

5. Ads and Third-Party Services

DocuEase may display ads using Google AdMob. AdMob and related Google services may collect data such as device identifiers, approximate location signals, diagnostics, network information and advertising-related usage information in accordance with Google's own policies.

Ad requests may use your device's internet connection. If you use a DNS-level ad blocker, VPN-based blocker or similar filtering service, ads may not load.

6. Permissions

• Storage or file access: to open files you select and save processed outputs.
• Notifications: to show background task progress and completion alerts.
• Internet access: to load ads and related ad network services.
• Foreground service and wake-related behavior: to help larger tasks continue reliably.

7. Sharing Files

If you use Android's share features from within DocuEase, the selected file may be passed to another app you choose. Once a file is shared to another app, that app's own privacy practices apply.

8. Data Retention

Files created by DocuEase remain on your device until you delete them. Local task history and recent file entries remain on your device until they are cleared by you, removed by app actions or deleted when the app is uninstalled.

9. Children

DocuEase is a general-purpose productivity app. It is not directed specifically to children, and we do not knowingly collect personal information from children through our own servers for routine app use.

10. Changes to This Policy

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time to reflect app updates, legal changes or operational changes. The updated version will be posted at the same policy URL with a revised last updated date.
